Camp will have 5 stations for the 5 age groups, with a 6th station that will focus on flag drills for our fall flag athletes. These athletes will use Station 6 in place of stations 4 & 5, which focus on blocking & tackling form and technique.
Age Groups:
- Flyweight (5-6)
- Bantam (7-8)
- Feather (9-10)
- Middle (11-12)
- Lightweight / JV (13-14)
Rotate stations every 5 min with a water break / drill change after each full cycle through. There will be 3 total cycles each workout for a total of 15 drills each day, plus the alternative flag drills.
Stations will focus on Speed, Agility, Quickness/Reaction Time, Blocking, & Tackling. Our Speed, Agility, & Quickness stations may also include some sort of football skill component.
Ideally, all assistant coaches will be assigned to a station with 2-3 coaches per station. Head coaches will rotate through the stations with their respective age groups and assist with drills as needed.
This information, along with a list of alternative flag drills, will be included on each day's workout plan.
